French Parliament

The construction of the Palate Bourbon started in 1722 for Louise Françoise de Bourbon, legitimated daughter of Louis XIV and Madam de Montespan. It accomodates the council of the cinq-cents in 1795 and shelters the seat of the national assembly of the French Republic since 1879. The frontage was modified under Napoleon, with the construction of the pediment and the columns. The pediment was again modified later, under the kingdom restoration in particular.
